Thule HideAway Awning Mounting Recommendation For An Enclosed Trailer
Question:
I am looking to mount a awning to the top of my cargo trailer. What is the best option. My concern is clearing the door. Or should I go shorter and mount to the wall of the trailer? Thanks

You could install the Rack'em Fitz-All Enclosed Trailer Ladder Rack Item # RA-28 on your trailer and mount the Thule HideAway Awning - Wall Mount - Waterproof - 80 sqft Item # TH490011 to it. Attaching it to the rack will allow you to place it higher so you won't have to worry about the door coming into contact with the awning fabric.
