DO you know the gauge or thickness of the steel rectangular metal bars 2 that the clamps attach to?

My contact at Saris was able to confirm that the Saris SuperClamp EX 4 Bike Platform Rack # SA4026F has two 1" wide upright bars attached together for the J hooks to move up and down on independently. The frame bar running parallel to the bike measures 1.5" wide and 3" tall. I attached a demonstration video for you.
