Parts Needed to Install Redarc Tow-Pro Brake Controller on 2012 Toyota Sequoia

Question:

We need to install a brake controller in our Sequoia with a new trailer coming. I think Ive put the installation package together correctly minus screws, zip ties, etc. Could yall confirm that these are the parts needed to install a brake controller in the 2012 Toyota Sequoia with factory tow package, or, do we need something else? Thanks. You're on the right track, all the parts you mentioned are exactly what you'd need but may I make a suggestion?

Rather than the # RED44FR Tow-Pro Elite, I'd recommend the # RED24FR Tow-Pro Liberty instead. The primary difference between the two is that the Elite features what Redarc refers to as a user controlled mode, which allows the controller to operate as a time-delayed controller which could be useful if you tow a trailer off road.

If you have zero plans to ever tow your trailer off road (most folks don't), the Liberty is less expensive and would mount remotely just like the Elite which is one of its main selling points. To install the Liberty, you'll also need the # 331-TPSI-002 mounting bezel you spoke of, the # 3040-P harness and the # 331-TPH-017 pigtail.

Going this route will save you a few bucks by not purchasing a feature that most won't need.

I've linked to a video featuring my buddy Conner who will explain how the Tow-Pro Liberty works.
