Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent Remote Control Operational Distance
Question:
I am hauling a trailer contains live animals. Will the remote work from my tow vehicle? I hope so in case I get stuck in traffic I can make adjustments without leaving the truck.

The remote on the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" Item # FV807350 uses and infrared light to communicate with the sensor on the fan so you most likely will not be able to be in your truck and use the remote to control the fan as you wouldn't have a clear line of sight to the sensor. You would need to be inside the trailer to use the remote to operate the fan.
