Should 2011 Chevy Tahoe Towing Trailer with 550 lb Tongue Weight Use Weight Distribution
Question:
I have a 2011 Tahoe with a tow capacity of 5000# and a tongue weight of 600# with no WD hitch, 10,000# and 1000# tongue weight with a WD hitch. Towing a travel trailer with a dry weight of roughly 3300# and a dry hitch weight of about 500-550#. Would I need a WD hitch. Seem to be getting some porpoising with it.

For as much tongue weight as your trailer has a weight distribution system would be a great choice to reduce the porpoising, reduce suspension sag, and improve handling and braking.
For that the Blue Ox weight distribution system part # BLU47FR would be a great choice.
