Solution for Needing Higher Rated Weight Distribution than 550 lb TW Draw Tite
Question:
My current weight distribution set up had spring bars for 550 lbs. and I need 800 lbs. now. My previous bars were Draw-Tite 81517. But I cant find these bars. Would the C17115 be a good 800 lbs. replacement for this?

Expert Reply:
Draw Tite does not still offer their spring bar replacements and Curt bars don't fit the Draw Tite heads so your best option would be a new system that is properly rated like the Curt # C17051.
