Upgraded Mounting Hardware for Thule/SportRack Alpine Cargo Box
Question:
Bought this rack last year from HomeDepot. Would like to replace the nightmare bolts provided with u bolts. Is this a Thule brand? What bolt will attach our roof box to Audi Q racks?

The SportRack Alpine is made by Thule. If you're looking for new mounting hardware, the only option would be the Replacement QM3 part # TH04997 which requires drilling into the box. That said, this design is much easier to use than the original u-bolts so it will take less time to install and remove the cargo box from the vehicle. They will work great with aero style crossbars from a number of different manufactures.
