How to Grease Hubs With a Bearing Buddy Installed.

Question:

When installing new bearings, should the hub be completely filled with grease so it will get pushed into the inner bearing?

When repacking your bearings, you do not want to have the whole hub filled with grease. You basically just want to get the inner and outer bearings and their races greased up and moving smoothly. I attached a video of the process that should help you out as well.

If you are using a Bearing Buddy, like the # BB2441, there is actually an automatic pressure-relief feature built into the Bearing Buddy. When it is full, grease will seep around the edges of the piston and into the barrel. This prevents overfilling that can damage the inner seal.
