Distance From Hitch Pin Hole To Closest Edge Of Shank On Weigh Safe 180 Hitch Ball Mount LTB8-25
Question:
I need to know the distance from the center of the hitch pin to the point of first obstruction. I have a Rocktamer that slides onto the 2.5inch shaft of the hitch. If there is not a square shaft that extends a minimum of 4inch from center of pin the Rocktamer will not work.

The 180 Hitch 2-Ball Mount w/ Stainless Balls - 2-1/2" Hitch - 8" Drop, 9" Rise - 18.5K # LTB8-25 was recently updated and has 2 hitch pin holes now.
From the center of the rear hitch pin hole the the closest edge of the shank measures 4-1/4", and from the front hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the shank measures 3-1/8".
Since you are needing at least 4", using the rear hitch pin hole will allow you to use the Rock Tamer you mentioned.
I included a video of the # LTB8-25 for you to take a look at.
