Recommended Bike Rack For 2 E-Bikes
Question:
We have a 5th wheel and want to attach the Swagman 66689 to the hitch. We have 2 e-bikes that weigh 60 pounds each. We are not quite sure if this is OK. Please advise on what we need to think about.

The Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S94FR has a weight capacity of 70lbs per bike and is rated to fit on just about anything so this is a perfect choice. One thing you will need to check is the rating of the hitch on your 5th wheel. If it is a bumper mounted hitch it most likely isn't rated to handle the weight of the rack and bikes.
If it's not rated to carry the weight you can install an adjustable frame hitch like the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver - 18"-51" Wide - 2" Drop - Class III - 2" Item # C13701. If you have a larger frame distance email me back and I can recommend the correct fitting hitch for your 5th wheel.
