Pin Box Replacement For A M19 Rota-Flex Pin Box
Question:
I currently have a M19 roto flex and bought an flex-air, the flex air is rated at 18,000 lbs and the roto flex at 19,000 . I did not realize it until I started to install it, will it be safe or should i get the flex-air that is 21,000 lbs.

It depends on the GVWR of your trailer. It's recommended to only be at 85% the GTW of the pin box and hitch so for example your if your trailer was all loaded up and weighed 15,000 then you would fall under 85% of the 18,000lbs weight capacity on the flex air that you purchased.
It never hurts to be extra cautious though so if you would like to size up to the 21,000lbs you'll want the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1716 - 21,000lbs Item # LC158777.
