This will depend on the capacity of your current tires, but clearance can definitely be an issue. You want to have at least 3 inches from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender and 4 inches between the front and rear tires.
The typical ST225/75R16 tire will be just over 29 inches and the Kenda Karrier ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10501 will have a diameter of 31.6 inches. This also has a capacity of 3,960 pounds at 110 psi per tire, so should get your capacity up to the needed maximum.
If the added height and width keeps you at 3 inches to the top of the fender and close to 4 inches between them, you can definitely upgrade to the # AM10501.
