Can I Still Open My Rear Cargo Hatch on 2010 RAV4 with Swagman XC2

Question:

Hi I have 2010 with spare tire and door swinging right. If I remove bikes can door open. I have 2” rectangular hitch installed. Suggest any other hitch if this won’t work Thanks

The center mast on the Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Item # S64650 folds down and flat with the base of the rack. With the bikes removed the rack should still sit below the top of the bumper, which would allow the rear cargo door to be swung open.
