Recommended Electric A-Frame Jack For 25' 7200lb Travel Trailer W/ 600-700lb Tongue Weight

Question:

Hi! Could you help me choose an electric trailer jack? We have a 25foot travel trailer. Weight is about 7200 lbs. Tongue weight around 600-700 lbs. My current jack when retracted measures 7" from the bottom to the bottom of the mounting plate, and when extended is 23". There are some situations based on how level the campground lot is, where I have to lower the tongue to the ground, and others where I have to raise it very high and put blocks under it as well. Keep in mind that I have to raise the trailer AND the truck to attach my weight distribution bars. Id love a couple recommendations to choose from if possible. Thanks for your help!

I would be happy to help!

For your 25' travel trailer weighing 7200lbs I recommend the Electric Jack w/ Footplate - A-Frame - 25-1/8" Lift - 3.5K - Black # EJ-3520-BBX you were looking at.

This jack will have a fully retracted height of 9" so it will stick down 2" further than your current jack, but when fully extended will have a height of 28-1/2" so you will gain a few inches in lift.

The 3500lb capacity of the # EJ-3520-BBX will be plenty for raise and lowering the 600-700lb tongue weight of the trailer, and will perfect for raising the trailer to make getting the spring bars of your weight distribution hitch easier.

I included a video of the # EJ-3520-BBX for you to take a look at.
