Recommended Adapter To Connect Gooseneck Horse Trailer To 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch In Truck
Question:
I have a 5th wheel hitch in my truck bed and need an adapter to haul a 6 horse slant load aluminum trailer with a gooseneck hitch. Which adapter would be safe without breaking the bank? At max, I would hauling 3 horses at a time.

We have exactly what you are looking for.
I recommend the Ram Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter - Round - 30K # KPG5-R30IP which will replace the coupler on your trailer and give it a king pin to attach to your existing 5th wheel hitch. This adapter has a 4" outer diameter so as long as the matches the I.D. of your gooseneck trailers outer tube this will fir perfectly.
If your trailer has a square outer tube then I recommend the # KPG5-Q30IP instead.
This coupler adapter has a 30000lb rating so it will be plenty strong, and it has 8" of height adjustment to level the trailer to your truck.
