Locking Out A 5th Airborne 5th Wheel King Pin W/ Sidewinder And Turret

Question:

is the holes threaded where you put these 3/4 inch bolts ? and how long and what thread size ? or do you need nuts to lock the unit out. I have gone to a long bed truck and do not want to use the short turn rotate at the back turret. 2007 chevy silverado 2500 long bed hd.

To "lock out" your 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder and Turret - 16,000lbs Item # RP61422 you'll need to place a 3/4 inch X 5-1/2 inch grade 5 bolt with a washer, lock washer, and nut in the each of the two holes at the rear of the turret. This will lock the rotating turret to allow you to use your 5th Airborne Sidewinder king pin like a normal king pin.

Note: Don't forget to remove the wedge to allow your king pin to rotate in your 5th wheel hitch.
