Which Weight Distribution System for Trailer with C-Channel Frame and 5-600 lbs Tongue Weight

Question:

I have a 1977 20 ft travel trailer with approx 500 to 600lbs tongue weight depending on if I am carrying water or not. Looking for a weight distribution hitch. GWR on trailer is 5500obs. The main question I have is that the tongue has c channel instead of a boxed frame. What systems will work with the C channel? It is heavy channel just not sure about mounting options. I would rather not drill into the frame but I can if it is necessary. I am not worried about sway, the trailer tracks great just looking to get the weight distributed better. It is 20.5 inches to top of my truck hitch. 14.5 inches to bottom of coupler on trailer. It squats my truck about 1.5 inches when hooked up.

I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # FA94-00-0800 for your trailer with 5-600 lbs of tongue weight.

This system has clamp on brackets so there is no need to drill. The integrated 2-point e2 sway control system will add to the stability of your trailer, is surge brake compatible, and allows you to back up the trailer without disengaging the hitch. The system will fit on your c-channel frame. However, you will need to place a block of wood or something similar between the bracket and frame on the open side.

I have attached an installation video for your reference.
