Hello, Im I correct in assuming that the etrailer moniker is a removable decal?

You're correct. The etrailer.com sticker shown in the # 277-000431 glass lamp shade is a vinyl sticker that's easily removed. We only place the sticker on items when we photograph them, so the chances of you receiver one with the sticker affixed is pretty slim.
