Is it Okay to Connect 12 Gauge Wire Solar Panel to 10 Gauge Entry Plate Wiring
Question:
My solar panel kit came with 12 awg wire. Will using this with the 10awg be okay? Wasn’t sure I should mix wire gauges.

It's perfectly okay to use your solar panel that has 12 gauge wire with the Go Power Solar Cable Entry Plate with Red and Black MC4 Cables # 34276245 that has 10 gauge wire. The wiring of your solar panel was picked based on how much amperage it would see likely and connecting that wiring to a heavier gauge wire does no harm as basically it just would be more than you'd need without any drawback.
