Which is Bettery for Charging Batteries Modified Wave or Pure Wave Inverters

Question:

I am looking at the Wagan 1000 inverter as a solution to infrequently top up my the charge of the 12v deep-cycle battery on my homebuilt tear trailer. The trailer has an installed Noco Genius GEN M1 4amp 1-bank charger. The 1000 watt inverter seems to have more than enough capacity, but I a wonder if I need a PURE sine-wave inverter, instead of a MODIFIED sine-wave inverter? The price difference is substantial and this is the only reason I need the inverter.

For charging a battery it is generally recommended to use a pure sine wave charger instead of a modified wave charger/inverter for the best charge although there's plenty of people online who will say it's no big deal either way.

The part # WC3720 is a modified wave and for a somewhat similar version that is pure wave we have the part # WC2600.
