Troubleshooting Swagman Locking Knob P1040 that Won't Fully Lock
Question:
I can not get my locking knob to lock. Turn it 1/4 clockwise and doesnt lock. What am I doing wrong?

Expert Reply:
You've probably tried this already but you might have to slightly wiggle the knob as you turn the key so that the mechanism gets lined up properly. You might also try slightly tightening or loosening the knob before turning the key as well.
