Which Extang Lock Core Matches Key of 2021 Ford F-350
Question:
I made the mistake of keeping my factory encore lock to the key inside my key fob on my Ford 2021 F3 50. I realized after the fact that I would have to buy a new lock core as it did not key correctly. I bought your replacement lock core but now can’t find A key that will work. A post on your page said I could use the glove box key but my truck doesn’t have one as it just uses the ignition key. My truck did come with a key to remove the tiedowns in the bed so I tried that but it doesn’t fit all the way into the walk. I can’t seem to find any key that I can use to work for this lock cylinder. Is there a stock key that I could purchase that will work?

It's possible you ordered the wrong replacement lock core to match what your 2021 Ford F-350 would use and that's why you aren't able to key it properly. The correct one you should have ordered would be the part # EX28620192-28. Can you verify that's what you have?
