I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, the WeatherTech Cargo Liner # WT42328 is not desinged to fit your 2012 GMC Yukon XL. Although, there is a cargo liner that is designed for your vehicle: the WeatherTech Cargo Liner # WT40310.

I confirmed with my contact with WeatherTech that the only way to use the Cargo Liner # WT40310 with the third row seating up is to cut the cargo liner to fit the foot space in front of the seats of the third row. If you choose to cut the liner, you will be able to have the space covered in front of the third row and behind the third row. If you choose not to cut the liner, you will have to lower the third row for the liner to fit.
