Carrying Boats On A 2020 Kia Niro Factory Rack w/ Thule Compass

Question:

If we were able to purchase the genuine roof rackfoot cross bars for a Kia Niro 2020 plug in, would that allow us to use the Thule Compass TH890000? The cross bars seem to be the limiting part in the pandemic. We had Thule fit kits and kayak racks on older car. If this would not work, and we needed two kayak racks, would they fit with the Niro cross bars? Which racks might you recommend in our case?

You should be able to use the Thule Compass Kayak and SUP Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style, Post Style, or Saddle, part # TH890000, with your factory rack. It was designed to work with factory bars. If your factory rack has bars that extend beyond the towers on your vehicle you will have more versatility with regard to carrying items on the roof, even applies to boat accessories.
