Can RV Backup Camera be Wired Up to Be an Observation System
Question:
I have a Dual Backup Camera on a 2021 Coachman 29KB with an F-450 chassis. The back up camera works fine with the turn signals, but hard to see when backing up. We are currently trying to adjust the screen to make it better. My question is can I use my I-Phone to monitor real time when hauling a trailer without putting it in reverse? I looked at another camera, but it would not really be needed if I could access the rear camera while traveling. Is there a way to do this? I have ordered other items from you and always 5-Stars! In order to wire up an RV's backup camera to easily be an observation system that allows you to view behind you at any time you'd just need to wire the activation circuit of the camera to the running light circuit instead of the reverse light circuit. This allows you the ability turn on running lights whenever needed to see behind you.
