Will CSS-1094R Coil Sumo Springs Help Reduce Rear End Sag From Trailer Tongue Weight

Question:

I have a 2015 VW Touareg TDI. I tow a 2019 Escape 21c trailer. About 500-600 lb. tongue weight and perhaps 4,000 - 4,500 gross vehicle trailer weight. The Touareg has no issue pulling rated at 7,700 lbs. but I would like to mitigate rear “sag.” Not a significant issue but I saw these on your site and wondered what kind of a result I could reasonably expect. Please advise. Also, is this product the only thing available to me to address this situation with my tow vehicle? Thanks for your help.

The # CSS-1094R Coil SumoSprings helper spring would indeed help reduce some of the minor sag caused by the tongue weight of a trailer being applied to the rear suspension of your Touareg. The product mounts in between the coils of your existing rear springs to provide additional support and dampening. They will also help reduce body roll experienced in turns. This is the only helper spring option we offer for your 2015 VW Touareg.

I'll link to a video that explains more about the Coil SumoSprings.
