Can The Exposed Roof Rack For Jeep Soft Top Be Used With The Soft Top Still Installed?

Question:

I have 2018 JL Jeep Wrangler. If I have this rack under the soft top, could I then put a cargo bag on top of the soft top?

The Exposed Racks Roof Rack for Jeep JL and Gladiator Soft Top - Square Bars - Steel - Black # ER74FR is made to fit under soft tops and only be used when the soft top is open or removed. While a lightweight cargo bag may be fine, I still do not recommend doing so because the soft top is not made to hold any weight from cargo added to the top of it and doing so could cause damage. I recommend only using this roof rack when the top is open or removed.
