The Rightline Gear Foam Block Rooftop Kayak Carrier # RL100K10 will fit a wide range of vehicles, both those with naked roofs and those with factory or aftermarket roof crossbars. Its fit to your 2012 Kia Forte and its clearance for the antenna will be a function of the specific vehicle model you have (Koup, Koup SX, EX, SX or LX) but also of the type and size of your kayak.
You will want to refer to your vehicle owners manual to confirm the weight capacity for the vehicle roof to ensure your kayak will not exceed its weight rating. Also note that if your Forte has a sun/moon roof this may not be operable with the carrier in place.
Since the foam kayak carrier is not limited to one specific mounting location (it secures with straps which run to the door jambs of the vehicle - please refer to the video provided) you will have some flexibility in placing it. Again, depending on your specific vehicle model and kayak, you may be able to position the carrier and kayak to allow enough clearance for the roof antenna. If not, it may be necessary to unscrew it when transporting your kayak.
If you like you can do a sort of test-fit of the kayak alone. You can place a blanket (or other material to protect your roof) on the car and rest the kayak on top. This should let you gauge whether it will clear the antenna when mounted on the carrier. Remember that the foam blocks will lift the kayak several inches above the roof surface.
You might consider a roof rack (if you do not already have one) which would allow use of a J-style carrier, such as the Yakima # Y04073 that holds the kayak at an angle. This would definitely provide better clearance for the antenna. If you wish to provide your specific vehicle model and type of roof (naked roof or roof with side rails) I can recommend a rack and carrier. Or you can use the link provided to select the roof type and search for the racks suitable for your Forte.
