Recommended 4-Bike Carrier For Trek Verve +2 Electric Bike

Can the Rocky Mountain Backstage bike rack and the Saris Freedom Rider rack be adapted for a third regular bike? Which bike racks will work with a Trek Verv +2 lowstep bike with fenders?

I have a solution for you, but the Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # SA4412B and RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # RKY10002 do not have the ability to be converted to a 3-bike or 4-bike carrier. The Saris Freedom is frame-mount which could possibly work for your Verve +2 electric bike, but it may not be able to fit around the Verve +2's large frame so I don't recommend it. The RockyMounts BackStage secures bikes by their wheels which would likely interfere with the fenders on your bike.
I think the best option for you is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches # HR1400Z. This is a really nice 4-bike carrier that can be converted to a 2-bike carrier very easily. This uses ratcheting hooks to secure the bike by the frame; you will need to use an adapter bar such as # HRBA-PRO for oddly-shaped bikes such as the Verve +2.
