Will Drilling Hole In Trailer To Mount CargoBuckle G3 IMF8800 Weaken Trailer?

Question:

I have tried to get this information before. I plan on buying two sets of these units when I can get the following information... The unit is designed to be mounted to my trailer via a single bolt. I dont know the size of the bolt but it seems to be 1/2 inch. My question is whether this will weaken the trailer part that I drill to mount this unit. I am not an engineer. I want to make sure I will not have a very strong strap attached to a weakened part of the trailer. Can you help me with this question. I have been looking at these things for a long time now and this is what keeps me from pulling the trigger. Please help me with this. My trailer is steel, 5.5 foot by 12 foot from Tractor Supply. I am looking at the retractable tie down straps to secure my UTV side x side when I have to transport it. Respectfully:

The CargoBuckle G3 Retractable Ratchet Tie-Down Straps - Bolt On - 2" x 6' - 1,167 lbs - Qty 2 # IMF18800 you were looking at uses a 3/8" bolt to secure the strap to your trailer.

This will not weaken the frame of the trailer given you drill the 3/8" hole directly in the center of the material on the trailer. You will want to make sure you are not drilling the hole right on the edge.

I included a video of the # IMF18800 for you to take a look at.
