Will 2020 Toyota Highlander With Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box Fit Under 94" Garage Opening?

I have a 2020 Toyota Highlander and looking for the best size cargo box. I was looking at the Thule Motion XT. Will that fit under a garage door opening if its 94inch high?

When trying to determine if a roof cargo box on your roof will fit under your 94" tall garage door opening, you first need to take a measurement. I think the easiest way would be to park under your garage opening (with empty unloaded vehicle) and measure the distance from the top of your roof rack / crossbars to the bottom of the garage door opening.

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black Glossy # TH629806 has a height of 17" so if your measurement is more than 17" then it will fit. Most aftermarket roof racks add approximately 3" to 6" of height to your vehicle and my research tells me that the 2020 Highlander measures about 68.1" tall. This means that if you had a tall roof rack measuring 6" along with the Thule Motion XT (17") installed, your total height would be about 91.1" which is under the 94" garage door opening.

I believe this will work well for your application, however, I would verify by taking that measurement of the distance between roof rack and garage door opening.
