Best Suspension Enhancement For a 2013 Chevrolet 2500HD Loaded With Tools
Question:
I have a 2013 Chevy 2500 HD that is loaded down with toolboxes, an air compressor, compressed gas bottles and other miscellaneous tools... will these help with lifting the truck back up to factory ride height and helping with stability and ride comfort?

Expert Reply:
The Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2709 is a great option for your 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and defiantly recommend them for the additional weight you are carrying. These will help provide up to 7,500lbs of support to your factory suspension for leveling your ride and improving ride comfort. The bags can also be adjusted individually to help support uneven loads in your truck.
The Firestone Dual Air Command # F49VV will provide you with a in cab controller to adjust the air pressure in each bag individually. This heavy duty compressor is one of the few kits that is capable of providing the 150lbs of air pressure to ensure that you can adjust the red label bags through their full range of air pressure. With the on board tank you will have faster adjustments and can air up your tires with the detachable air hose.
