Installing The BakFlip F1 Hard Tonneau Cover On 2012 Honda Ridgeline

Question:

The installation video that shows installing the BakFlip F1 in a 2012 Honda Ridgeline looks exactly like what I need. The truck bed in the video matches mine exactly. For example, it shows sides of the bed that DO NOT have any exposed rails. The instructions show attaching the BaKflip rail by removing bolts in the side of the bed and attaching the Bakflip rail using these spots. A final hole at the end requires using a self-tapping screw to make a small hole in the bed liner. MY QUESTION: If I order the Bakflip F1 for a 2012 Ridgeline, will it be exactly the one shown in the installation video? The reason I am wondering is that the written product description says that the F1 attaches using CLAMPS. Heres whats written in one of the bullet points: Frame rails clamp to the inside of your truck bed side rails But this is not how the installation is shown in the video. I do not have truck bed side rails. My bed looks like the one in the video. If you can assure me that the Bakflip F1 will attach exactly as the video shows, its exactly what I need!

The BAKFlip F1 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK72601, which is a fit for your 2012 Honda Ridgeline, will be installed in the same manner as you see in the attached demonstration video. I also attached a link to the instructions which are somewhat universal which is why it mentions bed rails, although your vehicle does not have them so you can disregard that part. You don't have to worry about your vehicle not having bed rails because this is made to fit your Ridgeline.
