Where Do I Install a TracRac SR On My 2020 Ford F150 5-1/2 Foot Bed?

Trying to instal my thule rack and there is no void at the front end of the bed on my 2020 F150 for the rails to attach to on my 5-1/2 foot bed.

I have a couple troubleshooting steps to suggest. The first thing I noticed was that the part number for this question is the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack # TH43002XT-501. This model of the SR is customized for the 2020 Ford F-150 6-1/2 foot bed. The part needed for the 2020 Ford F-150 5-1/2 foot bed is part # TH43002XT-508. If you have the # TH43002XT-501, it will not fit your truck.

Another thing to consider is if the stake pocket tabs have been removed from the stakes on the rails near the cab. Most trucks come with tabs that are outlined by an line where you can fit in a flat tool (such as a flathead screwdriver) to pop out the tabs. It is possible that the tabs have not been removed for installation of the SR into the stake pockets.
