Fit of SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018 on 2006 Saturn Vue with Factory Crossbars

Question:

Will the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 Cubic Feet, # SR7018, fit on my 2006 Saturn Vue? I do not have raised rails going from front to back, I only have the embedded factory strips. I have crossbars that are less than 4 in. I just want to make sure that I do not need the raised rails.

If your existing factory crossbars are less than 3-3/4 inches wide and are adjustable so that their spread (distance apart measured from the center of the front bar to the center of the rear bar) is between 25-7/8, 27-7/8, or 29-7/8 inches, the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box will work just fine for you.

The configuration of the rails that run from the front to the back of your vehicle is not really important, as long as you have the crossbars for the box to attach to, and their size (width) and spread (distance apart) is compatible with the cargo box.

Just to be sure, I spoke with one of our SportRack representatives, who told me that the Vista XL cargo box would indeed fit the factory bars on your Vue.
