Finding The Access Holes Needed to Install the Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch Receiver on 2012 Ram 1500
Question:
Hi, I understand I will need to drill holes in the bottom of the frame for the back bolts. However there are no holes in the side of the frame to pass the bolt and spacer block through. Is there another point on the 2012 ram where I can pass the bolt into the frame?

The access holes to insert the bolts via the fish wire in the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 65062 are located further back on the frame rail by the mounts for the front of a-arms.
In our video linked below, you can see that we had to enlarge the hole to get the bolt and block into the frame. It may be possible that the hole has been covered or plugged on your 2012 Ram 1500. If you are not able to find these holes please send me some pictures of that area of your frame to reference.
