Will the Yakima Reel Deal Fit on Square Cross Bars

Question:

I bought a reel deal Yakima rack but I’m finding that the provided mount will not fit around the rack system on my truck. Bar is 1.5” x1.5” square Any suggestions ?

The Yakima Reel Deal # Y04089 is designed to fit on your square bars, but there are some adjustments that need to be made to the mounting brackets to make them fit a little more snugly. I've linked a review video we did on the Reel Deal and at around the 7:30 mark of the video Colin talks about how you'll want to adjust your brackets to mount your Reel Deal to square bars.

You won't need to purchase any additional parts to make this work.
