Will the 24x62 Etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2-inch Hitches Collapse into a Ramp?
Question:
I actually have the hitch and a folding ramp already. So back to the original question. Can one or the other side of the folding ramp be collapsed allowing for the ramp to be used from the cargo area? Problem with old shepherds is there hips and a 12” ramp is to narrow. We have an 18 “ ramp already. Thanks !

Unfortunately, the 24x62 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches e98872 has integrated stopping points at the far end of the fold-down mechanism that stops the carrier from going past 180 degrees. Any angle past that 180 degrees would require removing or altering the hardware.
Although there is a cargo carrier that has a ramp as an additional attachment. The 32x48 Reese Steel Solo Cargo Carrier and Folding Ramp for 2" Hitches # PS10401-10402 does have the ability to lower a built-in ramp to the ground. The ramp would make it easy for your German Sheppard to go in and out of your vehicle.
