Is There a Plug and Play Brake Controller Adapter Plug in a 2000 Nissan Xterra

It sounds like you're referring to the factory plug that's used for a brake controller adapter; it doesn't appear that the 2000 Nissan Xtrerra came with one so any brake controller must be hard wired into the vehicle. For this reason, when installing the # ETBC7 in addition to the 12v power line you'll need to run a wire for a brake output wire into the cabin of your vehicle.

If you still need a brake controller, I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 because provides proportional braking control and comes with an easy to read LCD screen.
