Question:
Will these Flat tow kits work on Cherokee TRAILHAWK 4X4 Sport Utility? I see the small Ninch button next to the drive indicator.

Expert Reply:
# RM-521452-4 is not a confirmed fit for your vehicle because it excludes the Trailhawk editions. I recommend # RM-521451-4 which is a confirmed fit instead.
I also recommend the following needed equipment required to flat tow your vehicle:
Tow Bar: # RM-522.
Tow Bar Wiring: # RM-154.
Braking System: # HM39530.
Safety Cables: # RM-643.
There are some additional steps to getting your vehicle flat tow ready so I attached pictures of the owner's manual showing the steps. I highly recommend following the steps exactly how they're printed to avoid damaging your vehicle.

# RM-521452-4 is not a confirmed fit for your vehicle because it excludes the Trailhawk editions. I recommend # RM-521451-4 which is a confirmed fit instead. I also recommend the following needed equipment required to flat tow your vehicle: Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522. The non-binding feature makes disconnecting on un-level surfaces super easy. Tow Bar Wiring: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154. This is a one time set up that splices into your vehicle's wiring. Braking System: Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39530. This system is a one time set up and comes with a battery charger to keep your vehicle's battery charged while towing. Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables - 6,000 lbs # RM-643. There are some additional steps to getting your vehicle flat tow ready so I attached pictures of the owner's manual showing the steps.
