Sumo Springs Solo Helper Spring Recommended for Coachmen Beyond Class B Motorhome

Question:

Own a Ford Transit 350HD Coachmen Beyond Van travel. 9,000lbs. I currently have a set of Supersprings installed and want to add the Sumo Springs in the rear. The question is to go with the 40, 47, or 54 versions of the springs. I want moderate comfort but don't what the van to ride like a sports car. Any advice on which one? Im leaning towards the 47 middle

You're on the right track in my opinion. I'd eliminate the Sumo Springs Solo # SSR-121-54 from consideration because that'd be more support than you'd actually need and would tend to provide a harsher ride than what your looking for.

The SumoSpirings # SSR-121-40 offers 1000 lbs of additional support and the # SSR-121-47 would give 1500 lbs of additional support. The # SSR-121-47 would provide the best compromise between the needed support without making your motorhome ride like a buckboard, and would also help reduce sway and body roll, so that's what I'd recommend going with. I've linked to a product video that explains how the SumoSprings work.
