I've linked an installation video of a Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 installed in a 2006 Toyota Tundra using the # 3040-P adapter. It does show you where the plug would be located in your vehicle and will hopefully clear up any confusion.

Since you mentioned that you only have a 4 way, is it possible that it was installed aftermarket? If this is the case there is not an adapter plug on your Tundra and you would need to hard wire any brake controller in using the included pigtail. This also means that you don't have a 7 way already installed, so for that I recommend using the # ETBC7, which comes with all of the wiring, connectors and breakers needed to install a 7 way capable of powering trailer brakes.

I've linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to check out.
