Best Way To Use A Hitch Bike Rack On A Trailer
Question:
We have a vintage travel trailer with a 3 in. continuously welded bumper . Can we use the swagman platform bike carrier if we can find a way to adapt the bolt on part? Perhaps we would need a custom part welded for this bumper? Or could we install a 2 in hitch at the back of our 14 ft trailer for this carrier?

I suggest getting a 2 inch hitch receiver for your trailer. A universal one like this # C47CR will work well. You just need to weld it into place. I don't recommend putting the Swagman Original # S64400 in anything other than a hitch receiver. Luckily the Swagman Original is rated to be put on any vehicle you may have with a class III hitch or higher so you're good to use it on the back of your 14 foot trailer!
