What Ignition Circuit Does 60-Amp Relay Kit for Redarc # 331-BCDC1225D Wire To

Question:

I want to install a bcdc1225 in my 5th wheel trailer which I tow with a 2015 RAM 3500 6.7 l. diesel. I believe this truck has a variable voltage alternator. So therefore I will need to install a redarc rk1260 changeover relay. My question is where do I attach the relay power lead that is supposed to attach to the ignition? Do you have a recommended location? If so, where and how do I identify i t? Thank you,

The pin of the relay that comes with the # 331-RK1260 that runs to "ignition" only needs a power source that is active when the key is on to basically tell the relay to activate. You don't have to actually splice into ignition wiring. So basically any circuit on the vehicle that is only active when they key is on would work when installing the # 331-BCDC1225D.
