Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 2019 Wildwood 28RLSS
Question:
Will this hitch work properly with my trailer? The dry weight is 6389lbs and the payload is 1373lbs. I want to make sure this hitch will cover that range of tongue weights and drive properly. Thank you!

The Fastway e2 # FA94-00-1061 is definitely a good option, but you will want to double check your tongue weight to make sure it will work for you. The tongue weight can be anywhere from 10 to 15 percent of the total loaded weight of the trailer. If you are closer to the 10%, you will roughly be at 776 pounds and it will work perfectly for your trailer as the # FA94-00-1061 has a minimum tongue weight capacity of 600 pounds and a maximum capacity of 1,000 pounds.
That being said, if you are closer to the 15%, roughly 1,164 pounds, this will not be the best option for you. For this tongue weight, you will want to go with the Reese Steadi-Flex # RP66561. This will have a minimum tongue weight capacity of 700 pounds and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 1,400 pounds.
