Charger PD PD79RR for single 560ah lithium battery?
Question:
I see Carla [https://www.etrailer.com/question-428072.html] recommended connecting two of the PD79RRchargers together to double the amps into a battery bank and half the time to do it. 1. Does doing this double charger approach with the suggested 120 amps into the battery require a change in my system somewhere- e.g., breaker, wiring, ? 2. How do I know what my current system can handle? I see a max 30 amp breaker and currently run at PD 9145C model into older AGM. Would like to go to one or possibly the suggested two PD9160ALV chargers.

Your older PD9145C charger delivers 45 amps of DC charging power at 13.6 volts DC. (For AGM batteries)
This converter/charger requires 725 watts of AC power to operate. It also needs to be on its own AC circuit.
The Progressive Dynamics # PD79RR converter/charger delivers 60 amps of DC charging power at 14.6 volts DC. (14.6 volts for charging Lithium batteries)
This converter/charger requires 1000 watts of AC power to operate. It also needs to be on its own AC circuit
Two chargers can be connected in parallel to double the output amperage. Charger cables to the battery(s) should be between 2 and 14 AWG depending on length. Twice as heavy for 120 amps DC.
