I did some research and found that your 2007 Ford Focus should not be flat towed. You will need to use a tow dolly to tow the vehicle with the front two tires off the ground.
A great choice for a tow dolly is the Roadmaster # RM-2050-1. It comes with a 4-way wiring harness to operate the towed car's signal lights.
Since your Focus is well under the 3000 pound limit you would be ok to tow with a larger and much heavier vehicle. For safety, handling, and wear on your towing vehicle I would attach the electric brakes and install a brake controller.
The lights plug into a 4-Way but I recommend removing the 4-Way and wiring the remaining wires, including the blue wire for electric brakes, to a 7-Way, # A7WCB. The motor home will also need to have a 7-Way and to activate the dolly brakes it will also need a brake controller such as # 90885.
