There is a specific procedure for replacing the # 31-71-3 Nev-R-Lube bearing, and it is permissible to re-use the spindle nut. The procedure follows below, and I'll also email you a .pdf copy.

Jack up the trailer and remove the wheel, then carefully remove the grease cap. Use a set of snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring on the end of the spindle, followed by the torque inspection washer, then loosen and remove the spindle nut. Carefully remove the hub from the spindle. Once the hub is removed, you'll then remove the internal snap ring and use an arbor press to push the old bearing out, toward the wheel side of the hub. Clean and inspect the hub bore.

The new bearing should be installed using a press with a hollow or stepped step face that only presses on the outermost diameter of the replacement bearing, this is important otherwise the bearing/seals can be damaged. Continue pressing bearing into place until it seats against the back shoulder machined into the hub. Then, reinstall the internal snap ring. Before reinstalling the hub, you'll want to clean/inspect the spindle shaft. It's important to apply a light coating of anti-seize lube to the spindle so removing it later will be easier, if necessary.

Next, carefully install hub onto the spindle. Don't force the hub onto the spindle. Install the washer on the spindle end. Start the spindle nut by hand, and complete by torqueing the nut to 145-155 ft lbs. Install the torque instruction washer, then the outer snap ring. If there isn't excessive end play, reinstall the dust cap.
