I have a solution for you.

It sounds like your 2021 Toyota Sequoia has factory crossbars on the rails. The Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Yakima Roof Racks, part # SPS5084-Y400, does not fit on this as they use the T-slots of Yakima crossbars.

We do have a setup that will work with your rails, though. It's part # SPS5084-1101. It's the same basket you were looking at, but it comes with the adapter needed for your rails. It will not use your crossbars. As such, it may be able to sit on top of them without the need to remove them. Of course, your factory bars may push the basket too high to attach to the rails, so you might have to remove them.
