How Tight Should Bracket of Tow Defender that Replaces Shoulder Bolts
Question:
Just installed Tow Defender to my Roadmaster tow bar. How tight should the two large bolts/nuts be torqued at the tow vehicle end Location of the bracket that replaces the factory allen head shoulder bolts. Im affraid I have them over tight, because the two nylon washers seem flatter and it does not move as easily Tow bar left to right swivel. On the flip side, I dont want to lose a bolt.

Since there isn't an exact torque spec you'll want to get them as tight as you can before the tow bar becomes more difficult to swivel to the sides. This will ensure it's as tight as possible without interfering with performance.
